All finishers will receive a signature medal at the finish line after completing their race.
Only the top male and female finishers in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will be recognized at the finish line on race day. In accordance with USATF Rule 245.1, overall and masters awards (top three) for men and women are determined by gun time – the order athletes cross the finish line.
All other awards, including age group results, are determined by chip time, which reflects each athlete’s actual elapsed time from start to finish. This approach helps account for the time it may take to cross the starting line due to field size.
A few key award notes:
- No cash prizes will be awarded
- No physical age-group award distribution race weekend
- All non–on-site awards will be mailed after results are certified
- No duplicate awards will be given
- Electronic finisher certificates for the Marathon and Half Marathon will be available online once results are finalized (typically mid-April)
